The script can be used in nativeEx based projects, including PicoXP.

For all the lot of people here liking it colored! :poke:

cmd.gif

You can get the script via the WinBuilder download center from the nativeEx server, or directly here.

Peter

BTW: The script does not make much practical sence (A bit it does: You can define CMD in your PE. But what does it help ... Everybody can work with every style CMD .....). It is more a Tutorial, or HowTo

wow.. Peter actually done something that is true eye candy, welcome to the fun side of PE! :poke:

Thank you for the script, it's nice to have more options to tweak.

-------------

Not related, but under linux we can set up the console window to be semi-transparent which is a good looking effect.

Do you think that the same can be achieved with cmd.exe throught alpha transparency? :poke:

I don't know how easy/difficult this is but would be a nice tweak for cmd as well.

Bye, good old B&W :poke:
What did I initiate creating this topic? :poke:
Maybe I have been drunk or under control of some drug?

At least I wrote in the first post:

It is more a Tutorial, or HowTo

Thanks . (notice 2 thank you from me on post1)

also
some Buttons on script interface maybe nice to test and see on current windows like
"Apply to Current Windows" button
and
"Apply to Current Windows - Default" button
and
"Start Current Windows CMD" button

or something else with different name and method(s) but i hope you understand the idea.

ps:  i missed nativeex barabone .zip file on your signature

Version 2 is Online.

It supports the <ALT+ENTER> key to toggle between full screen and standard window.

It also respects Lancelot's wish about 'default' and 'custom'

It can define CMD.exe to come up in the PE in full screen.

But that should only be used in PEs having CMD as shell. In a 'usual' explorer shell PE, a lot of CMD are executed during boot.
And they all come up 'FullScreen' (Nice movie ...)
@fxscrpt: Maybe we get a 'LateStarter' ...
