First, let me thank you for the great program!

Today when I was using it, I found a problem though. I downloaded the latest Avira Rescue CD (Jan 13, 2011 Version: 20110113182347) and tried to add it to an Xboot compilation that had gparted, memtest86+, & clonezilla. After picking it on the resulting USB stick the Avira AntiVir Rescue System eventually errors out.

Here's what happens:

I also tried including only the Avira Rescue CD in Xboot and got the same result. I tried the USB stick on two different computers and got the same results as the QEMU.

FWIW, when I burned the actual .ISO I downloaded to a CD it worked fine.

I saw this other thread on the forum for Sardu where someone had the same problem with Avira and USB. link

The explanation was, "The problem was a folder who sardu don't extracted in the new iso"

Not sure if the issue is related, but it seemed too similar to be random.

Thanks!

Thanks for reporting.
Indeed "a folder not being extracted" was the problem.
it will be fixed in XBoot vs 1.0.0.0 beta6

Regards.
