Hy @ all
Ich habe habe mir grade ein LiveXP erstellt mit einem WinXP SP3 und habe das als ISO gerade da liegen.
das lässt sich mit dem Menu.lst eintrag im Grub auch prima starten.
************************schnipp*****************************
title LiveXP in den RAM
find --set-root --ignore-floppies /iso/LiveXP.iso
map /iso/LiveXP.iso (0xff) || map --mem /iso/LiveXP.iso (0xff)
map --hook
root (0xff)
chainloader (0xff)
************************schnapp******************************
Nun ist es aber so, das mein Iso dooferweise schon fast 800 MB mist.
jetzt meine Fragen:
1. wie kann ich das Iso so umbasteln das ich das entpacken und
direkt vom usb stick starten?
************************schnipp*****************************
#timeout 15
default /default
splashimage=/HBCD/buddha.xpm.gz
title Boot von Festplatte\n
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader (hd0,0)+1
title
root
title LiveXP in den RAM
find --set-root --ignore-floppies /iso/LiveXP.iso
map /iso/LiveXP.iso (0xff) || map --mem /iso/LiveXP.iso (0xff)
map --hook
root (0xff)
chainloader (0xff)
title Hirens Boot CD 13.1
find --set-root /HBCD/XPLOADER.BIN
chainloader /HBCD/XPLOADER.BIN

Ich danke Euch schon jetzt für die Antwort

Hy @ all
I've had just one LiveXP created a WinXP SP3 and have the ISO than just lie there.
that can be run with the menu.lst in the grub entry also great.
***************************************************
LiveXP title in the RAM
find - set-root - ignore-floppies / iso / LiveXP.iso
map / iso / LiveXP.iso (0xff) | | map - mem / iso / LiveXP.iso (0xff)
map - hook
root (0xff)
chainloader (0xff)

Now, it is so stupid enough, the mist my Iso almost 800 MB.
Now my questions:
1st how can I extract the Sun umbasteln the iso I and
start directly from the usb stick? Unpacking the CD because I just
on the stick and leave you load the setupldr.bin? I think
I can only invite the stupid, the whole CD into RAM must
2nd how can I umbasteln the CD as the WIM and WIM by Grub
can start? Because the WIM is so much smaller than the
ISO.
Here is an excerpt of my current menu.lst
***************************************************
# Timeout 15
default /
splash image = / HBCD / buddha.xpm.gz
title Boot from disk \ n
rootnoverify (hd0, 0)
chainloader (hd0, 0) +1
