so i would say: every script has only hidden bugs
try and error
and report
the size of the full TI Echo - when it is not slimmed down and PECompact not used - is horrible (above ~470MB)
if it is slimmed down plus PECompact used it is ~135MB
BartpPE version: lack of the image mounting, image browsing function
but the size is much more smaller
intrinsically my modded scripts from version=2 to version=5
regarding the result in the builded PE is the same
i mean the added files and registry entries exactly the same if Echo build above 8 163 used
only the way of building was changed
my initial version is version=2 (as thuun's original is 106 and i interpreted it as v.1.06)
in version=3 i added the architecture check
as on x64 host from installed Echo it is not possible to gather the files for an x86 PE
and previous version supposed that Echo is installed to its default location i.e. to %ProgramFiles%\Acronis,
so i added a FileBox to the script interface where can define the path to the install folder in that case when Echo is installed not to the default location
from version=3 to version=4 the way of how should to supply the lic key (for that case if Echo is not yet installed on the host) was changed
see post #4
i believe it was not a bug in the script but rather a Winbuilder issue
see this thread
(supposedly the old method now would work with WB078SP1 - didn't tested myself)
from version=4 to version=5
i would say: cosmetic changes
the typo in the shortcut name: UpperFilers > UpperFilters was corrected
and a mistake regarding its icon: icon was not shown on the shortcut
i didn't noticed this at first as probably i used an older regedit-api.script and in my build regedit.exe was located in %SystemRoot%\system32 but later i noticed in an up-to-date LiveXP there is no regedit.exe in %SystemRoot%\system32 but it resides only in %SystemRoot%
nevertheless the shortcuts worked fine

the size of the full TI Echo - when it is not slimmed down and PECompact not used - is horrible (~450MB)
if it is slimmed down plus PECompac used it is ~135MB
BartpPE version: lack of the image mounting, image browsing function
but the size is much more smaller
what is size of ur bart pe version (which lacks image mounting and browsing ? )
i guess the one i have (not plugin ) is smallest then any available Ati with UR.

Hi maanu
in fact the 8 MB sfx packed version you refer is 30MB with 7z compressed to 8MB, which means it requires 30MB+8MB of ramdrive. At least I know one person, kare, which wont like this solution (kare's limit is having livexp running with acti on 128Mb (or 256MB) ramed hostos)
On the other hand, wimpacked (or wimbooted) BartPE 9.7 version of acti will result 8 MB
And on my other hand (yea yea, i have lots of hands ), one can make this package work on ufd without requiring ramdrive. (or %temp%)
If you are interested, Why not make a LODR-U or Portable tutorial (or better batch ) about creating such a package. So everyone who have ti can create its own lodr-u/portable package.
I am not acti fan, but I am sure there is significant difference between BartPE 9.7 30MB (even packed to 8MB) version and ~135MB version.
All ways to Karachi
