I start tftpd32, the DHCP server is unchecked.

I check DHCP Server box, acknowledge the "restart" dialog box.

Restart tftpd32 and the DHCP Server box is still unchecked...
endless loop of trying and no settings stay changed.

Any thoughts???

TIA,
Len

uninstalled the prior version and installed the latest version.

No matter which settings I change, the settings always revert back to defaults when I restart tftpd32.

Is this a permissions issue with Window$ 7???

TIA,
Len

Does the ini file change ?
Please look at the entry Services, default is 15 (all services enabled), turning off DHCP should set it to 11.

Ph., thank you for your reply!

Yes, the .ini file changed to 11. For some reason, unchecking the DHCP Server worked this time.

However when I changed the default path, it kept reverting back to c:\tdtpd32. If I manually change it, it seems to keep the setting.

Ph., I just installed v3.35 and everything is working as it should.

Cheers,

Had the same problem when I got my new notebook. I installed Windows 7 Pro and TFTPD32.

Changes to the program would not save after being changed in the program.

After manually changing the .ini, I get an `Access is Denied` error when saving the file.

The work-around was to select `Run as Administrator` when launching TFTPD32.

BTW, my account is part of the local Administrators Group.

I think that it's the best way you can do now. Install the latest version. Good luck and hope you fix it.

:)

Edit properties of the shortcut to Tftpd32 > Advanced... > check "run as Administrator"
Another solution could be to disable the UAC.
