Hi

We plan to offer our customers free malware removal for the month of september. To have as less as work possible we're seeking a solutions that let us just plug in the user notebook and after booting that over pxe, everything's goes automatic, such as virus and spyware cleaning with newest signature and and emailing a report for customer.

Currently we're booting customer pc's over pxe with vistape and click us through various antivirus software e.g. Avira, G-Data, Spybot&Destroy, then save the reports to a shared drive and print that from an windows client. That's a lot of time and clicks, and doing that for a whole month free would be enormous work.

Looking truly forward to your suggestions

Thank you

It would be nice if you could state WHO the "we" actually is/are and WHERE you come from/are based.

See here:

Also, besides the fact that "you" are willing to offer the service for free to "your" custoomers, are you willing to actually pay for a solution or you are looking for a Freeware Only one?

I mean, it is possible that you find a willing member able to help you for free or maybe one that asks for some compensation or that some NOT Freeware tools are needed....:frusty:

Dear Jaclaz

Thank you very much for your answer. Our company offers IT services to private persons and SOHOS in Switzerland. We're actually 2 persons.
Of course we'd rather take freeware but if possible we'd love also to pay for a "out of the box" solution or compensation. Actually we're using a VistaPE from c't (german it magazine) which has some offered payable add-ons (e.g. G-Data Antivirus).
Looking forward to all your suggestions ;)

P.S. I'm not able to remove the country flag, I don't want to offend anybody

It seems to me clear enough, maybe it's simply because noone is interested in the topic. ;)

Or possibly you scared them all, if I read it rightly your questions could be re-worded as:

I need someone that will write some scripts of dsome kind to automate the launch of:

  • Avira
  • G-Data
  • Spybot&Destroy
  • then save the reports to a shared drive
  • and print that from an windows client

Which does seem like a lot of work for the hypothetical willing member in order to do somethng to make you save a lot of work. ;)

Congratulations, you now belong to the country of chocolate, precision watches, reknown in the world for lilac cows :)

Oooops. :cheers: I must have got the wrong picture....

However:
  • NO intention to promote any particular chocolate brand
  • NO cows (nor pigs ;)) injured or harmed in the process

In the days I used Windows, you had Hitman.

The previous version of Hitman Pro (version 1 and 2) automatically downloads, installs and runs third party anti-spyware and anti-adware programs that are freely available on the Internet:

* Eset NOD32 antivirus system (trial, expires in 30 days)
* Webroot Spy Sweeper (trial, expires in 7 days)
* PC tools Spyware doctor (demo, will not clean anything)
* Lavasoft AdAware SE (freeware)
* Safer Networking Spybot - Search & Destroy (freeware)
* TrendMicro CWShredder (freeware)
* JavaCool Software SpywareBlaster (freeware)
* McAfee VirusScan SuperDAT (virus signature definition updates, McAfee PrimeSupport license required for qualifying product)
* Ewido Micro Scanner (freeware)

This approach had a few disadvantages, the most important are: the scan time was very long, the program used many system resources and errors in the used third party programs could cause system instability. These disadvantages disappeared in version 3.

The last versions do work different (at least that is what I think after looking at the home page). Maybe you can find an old copy and hope that it still works with the last versions of the third party tools.

see here

http://www.google.com.pk/search?q=MultiScan_1.6.1&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

although the solution is on warez boards , but it belongs to the following forums ,who are against warez since it is mentioned to use " own keys " for using shareware tools included ,

hackhound.org

and also here ,
