I bought kingston datatraveler 150 , 64GB usb stick.
I want to partition it (4 partitions).
On XP,it can see the first partitions.
I have found two ways to make multiple partitions on usb sticks. But one of them works only for those computers on which a specific driver is installed. The other way use some usb modification tool, but I can't find such tool for
kingston datatraveler 150 .

Is there any way to do this on my usb stick.
Here is my usb information.

USB Mass Storage Device(Kingston DataTraveler 150 USB Device)
VID = 0951 PID = 1621
0018F30C08395B9708140030
PMAP
phison
PS2231~PS2232
Kingston
DataTraveler 150

I know this is not a question of usb booting.
If you know anyforum to discuss this issue, please tell me.
thanks.

Did you try the Hitachi micro filter driver?

It works for me on usb sticks from 1Gb to 16Gb on xp/vista/2008.

Flipping the "removable bit":

Your mileage may vary. ;)

Thank you very much, jaclaz.
I have download Phison_UP10-UP14_1.08 and look a bit at the tutorial. But I don't understand one thing. When I open

MP2232_F1_B4_V108_0A.exe
MP2232_F2_V108_0A.exe
ParamEdt-F1-v2.1.0.3.exe
ParamEdt-F2-v2.1.0.3.exe

They didn't list my kingston usb stick. In fact , they didn't list any of my usb stick or usb device. It seems that they are different from those tools I have seen before. Do you know anything about this?

Remember that this is tricky business, be very careful in what you do, and in case anything goes wrong, you should ALWAYS say:

the devil made me do it

NEVER, and I mean NEVER say:

jaclaz told me to do it

;)

It is possible that kingston changes the "standard" VID/PID from Phison and that the utility ONLY recognizes the original Phison ones, at least this is what happens with other chip manufacturers/OEM's.

The procedure, I'll re-iterate, VERY RISKY, is then to change the VID/PID to the "right" one the utility recognizes, flip the bit, than restore the OEM one.

Check this:
http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=1659

it may help (or completely fail to).

General advice:
Check also the other Mass Production Tools from Phison, read "between the lines" of the guides/docs, make sure that you installed (if any) the dedicated driver properly, disconnect ANY, and I mean ANY other USB device, use a "clean" system, possibly XP and NOT Vista, to avoid possible conflicts.
