Ive used SK jukebox for years as a jukebox application ona an old pc. After discovering Winbuilder I thought it would be kinda cool to boot the OS and software from a CD rather than using up valuable harddrive space that could be used for MP3s.
The problem I have is SK Jukebox relies upon Windows Media Player and whines about WMP.dll not being registered upon loading.
After scouring the net I cant find a solution to include windows media player in my build of NaughtyPE. Any ideas as this is my only stumbling block so far im a reasonably clever guy.
Thanks

Unless maanu is right, you only have one chance and that is to make one yourself.
But why don't you simply use XMPlay?

read some post in the thread , this is untested and seems as controversial plugin .
found the chinese one , but it seems too complicated (at least for me ) to get working in pe . although it is chinese version . but u can always put the english files in .
let me know if u or someone else needs it and i ll upload it ..

+ SK Jukebox ~ ??MB + work
+ WMP11 ~ 30MB + lots and lots of work
+ Since WMP will probably also for Audio need DirectX: DirectX ~ 30MB + no work
+ Some other files that are probably missing ~ 5MB + work
versus
+ XMPlay ~ 1MB + no work
Hard decision!

SK Jukebox is great I wish it didnt rely upon WMP but it does and thats not going to change. I have an old computer i use as a jukebox...very small ex call center computer with a cd-rom drive. It has a 160gb hard drive. I collect music and I keep it on there and its easy for people to flip thru.
My aim is to make a dual-layer DVD pre-loaded with music that could potentially turn any computer into an impromptu jukebox and also load mp3s stored on the hard drive without using up valuable hard drive space and potentially with a fast loading OS because of it being stripped down.
This is my aim. I think alot of people would find this useful for occasions like BBQs etc so that you could even turn an old laptop into a jukebox for a party. Jukeboxes are cool and id LOVE it if some people on here could help me make this work.
Please?

Just a warning:My aim is to make a dual-layer DVD pre-loaded with music that could potentially turn any computer into an impromptu jukebox
keep PE file in front of media, that's within first 4 GB of media.
Sort music files after PE files.

how 'd it be done ? just wondering .
ok let me explain , suppose i have a 8 GB dual dvd ,. i want to make the following ,
Grub4dos as bootloader.
1. a pe with lots of apps ( 2 GB suppose )
2. some live linux stuff ( 0.5 GB )
3. un atteneded xp with apps ( 1.8 GB )
rest of the space , i ll use for my ghost and acronis backup images .
now what do u mean that how will i add the first 3 number items infront of the dvd ? what special command will i use in cdimage ?

Add music files at directory \Music. That's sorted after I386.
Break, dosn't NaughtyPE use directory \windows? Disable this or use another name.
@manu
Cdimage dosn't sort files at given requirements.
Oscdimage from current WAIK sort files, directories are unclear.
Mkisofs sort files and directories.
Yes, this expand this thread. If you like to create such a DVD, ask at another thread.
Sounds like a lot of fun, expect some testing.

Tried using Regmon but seems like a nightmare to work with.

Run it once before the install and once after the install and it will give you a list of all added, changed or deleted Registry entries. Does the same for the files in the specified folders.
Everything that may is required, but does not change, is not recorded!

You can't use the reg file like that. All you do is to import it into your own registry. You'll have to convert it for use in WB.How the hell do i import this reg file into the build in a simple straight forward way please? I feel so close to doing it at this point.
use psc reg2wbs.

Why would you write a script which needs an Api version which is not in NaughtyPE?

Hive_Load,Hive
Hive_Unload,Hive
Where Hive needs to be replaced with the proper String from below.
HKLM
HKCU
HKU
BASE
Or i could send you the very experimental NaughtyPE files to use the brand new Common API. First builds worked fine.
But no gurantees!
