Sorry - with Converter 3.0.3 we could use the starter edition to use the Coldclone-mode with PE.
With Converter 4 this no longer works.

Enterprise customers of VMware can download a Coldclone CD which comes with a version of Converter 4 that can do cold-clone-mode.
This version can also be used with different PEs.
Instructions how to load Converter on demand are here
Only tested with MOA.
With little adjustments it should work on different PE-builds as well
