In my nativeEX project the link names have prefixed numbers in order to define the order of execution.
[attachment=984:links.gif]
When downloading, the links get the root names of the corresponding scripts.
Now the order is the alphabetical script name order.

In addition, the links 'EmptyHive' and 'ScriptLog' should not be here.

Links do need to match the corresponding script inside the archive folder, otherwise it would be much more difficult to know how to syncronize both archive and projects folder.

Perhaps later it would be possible to add it as an option to be added manually..

In addition, the links 'EmptyHive' and 'ScriptLog' should not be here.

Renaming them from .script to any other extension no link will be automagically created, hope this helps! :P

Links do need to match the corresponding script inside the archive folder, otherwise it would be much more difficult to know how to syncronize both archive and projects folder.

As a quick and dirty (a little bit better than my batch) fix I suggest:
Optionally add (by editor) the link name as a last argument in the updates.ini line.
If there is an name there, the update uses this name rather than the script name.

For long time solution:
The logic should be discussed.
Currently common scripts like ProjectInfo, EmptyHive, MkISOFs etc. are duplicated in the
Archive\project1\???, Archive\project2\??? etc. directories.
They should be in Archive\shared or similar.

Renaming them from .script to any other extension no link will be automagically :P created, hope this helps!

Thanks. I'll change

Peter

Yes, I agree with your point of view - at this moment I'll be bugfixing a few more details before releasing 053.

After this will dedicate to improve the download center! :P

I made a 'quick and dirty' fix which hopefully is temporary!

See here.
