I need to boot from usb with norton ghost 14 image in it
and load ghost 14 then restore ghost image
I know windows ramdisk utility can boot upto 512 mb
saying simply need to know about boot from usb with an iso in it and load that iso image
I able to do it with a bartpe image I downloaded , think can do same with any bootable iso image upto 512mb
my dvd writer is not working
I often need to restore ghost image
it will increase life of dvd lense also since I do it in 2-3 days

Since your goal is to restore with booting ufd, Maybe life will be easier for you without ghost14
After you make your ufd bootable with probably a PE environment, There are lots of free imaging softwares to help you (***check here).
And If you like ghost a lot, try to use ghost11 following risolutore advice**** (Which is common usage by ghost fans)
Besides there is BESR "Recovery and Backup CD" available by symantec which may help you to restore ghost14 images (never tested). This cd may also be bootable with ufd (never tested) too.

Hi there are lot of command line option to boot from USB/CD then directly restore the ghost image to a partition of the hard disk

I would be interested to know how the above is "phylosophically" different from:
A lot of round things exist, they usually roll when pushed down hill.
and what contribution the above gives to the current thread or to the world knowledge in general, besides having no practical use?
