I have a server hosting my project but the downloader will not access the address....

the server is shadowproj.net/Projects/

how do i need to configure my server to allow WinBuilder to download the files?

An updates.ini file needs to be found under shadowproj.net/Projects/ for WB download centre to recognise a project to download.

Galapo.

Inside WinBuilder, under the tools there is a tab to help you create this updates.ini automatically.

Don't forget to clean up your project before creating updates.ini

My advice is to keep two winbuilder folders - one for testing and improvements and the other one strictly to upload your project.

But with some practice you'll see how this works.

For my use with nativeEx I wrote a package wich uses this two-projects-strategy

It is descripbed here: [Tool collection] Server Upload, nearly automatic

Maybe you can use it, too.
