I've tried using downloaded ISOs, including Ubuntu Live, 64Studio and ArtistX. UNetbootin successfully installs them and I can boot from the flash drive. But when I try to actually run any of them at the boot menu - they all try to mount a CD/DVD, then give me error messages when they can't get one. I thought that Unetbootin would remove the need for a CD/DVD. I need this functionality because I'm using a laptop that has a failing CD/DVD drive and it can't reliably read media anymore ...
