Hello all.

I'm posting this message so that everyone in the community doesn't strange my absence during the next weeks/months.

The reason for being offline is because I'll be moving away from my work and life in the Azores to set roots back onto my hometown where I will continue my studies at the local university for some time.

This is a big step for me and my family. Means a new start for a new career and a lot of work to get things going on the right track.

Unfortunately, this also means some distance from my favorite web related activities like winbuilder and boot land so that I can truly focus on this goal at 100%. Otherwise it's too easy for me to get distracted with boot disks and skip doing homework or studying properly for exams.. :D

Please excuse me if any messages sent to my current email box take a bit longer to be replied. I will only visit the email box once a week to take care of administrative tasks like creating new subdomains or member account troubleshooting.

It's been fun while it lasted. I can truly say that I've learned so much from many other members here on the forum that this experience has become a fundamental part on my own motivation to become a better professional, thank you for everything - I already miss you all.

From time to time I'll be here to haunt the board.. :D

Thank you for all the time and effort you put into winbuilder. Hope the move goes well. I moved from the UK to the US in 1997 so I know what it is like to change countries.

Wow! Big step, big changes - boot-land won't be the same :D

Best of luck to you Nuno, thank you for all you've done (more than any of us know) to build and shape your vision here. Thank you for supporting and encouraging myself and so many others over the years. You will be missed but we wish you the best in whatever you pursue and hope that you will find success and happiness in all your endeavors.

Take care my friend :D

Yep. Let's see how this goes, there's a lot of work and things to study.

There is a good thing about it, he can have beard & long hair.

eheh.. do you really think my wife would let me look that way?!? :D

Thanks for all the nice words.

Yep. Let's see how this goes, there's a lot of work and things to study. ;)

It is never too late. A friend of my father left army (I think he was lieutenant colonel) at his 45s to become civil engineer. On the other side, I 'ld like to give up geoponics & companies to be air force pilot :D (but I am too old at my 31s).

eheh.. do you really think my wife would let me look that way?!?

If you buy her (your wife) more gifts and pay some trips to Santorini, I am sure she will love your hippie look! :D

Net, has been down for a bout 3 days over here. Just started back working today. We had a REAL BAD Thunderstorn and it knocked the connection down somehow. Well! enough about me.

Dont worry about this place,it is still be around right. Its not going to close up. Are we.

This is what you can tell you babay when he gets olde:
Still remember the day we met at 911 and as rookies. Set out to create Winbuilder from Batchfiles and testing. lol!

Aslong as things stay stable, you should be ok. Study today, because you might not have time later once the baby's get older. Good luck at Mount Olympus.

Yes, those were the days. Was really fun to play with XP.. :D

I'm recognizing some of this good karma with the ongoing testings for win7.

Having fun was the reason that brought our community together in the first place.

Don't know if I'll be capable of staying offline from boot land for too long, it's not easy to find such a cool place to talk about boot disks all day long.. :D
