I tried to update Kaspersky Antivirus 2009 in VistaPE v12 but it isn't working.
About at 100% it stops and if I want to make a scan there is the message:
database is absolute
I don't understand. Before it worked without problems.

(I start VistaPE by grub4dos from usb stick and iso-mapping)

And where are the updates saved (being a .iso by design a READ ONLY CDFS filesystem)? :good:

If I use CD it was working, that is a .iso too or?

I'll try again:

Now it's a simple, plain, question, that I am sure you can answer.

Now I understand, I think, I chose update in kaspersky, so it was downloaded from the kaspersky server until 25MB and then it stopped with the named error.

Hello

First I don’t use kaspersky but I think it only updates when booted in VistaPE, not during build time - am I right?

In ImDisk Ramdisk whats your ram disk capacity set for?

And maybe Basic Configuration and tools what your FBWF cache size?

Did you have this working before? :good:

Base\Addons\ImDisk Randisk for VistaPE - defaults at 10%
I run 70%

FBWF for me is 256

Well like I say I do not use Kav these are just some basic settings that may help :good:

Hello Asker2  :good:

@ Asker2 : Now I have 6 antivirus engines in vistape

Can you share the link of 6 antivirus engines or give the name of this ?

What's your version of Winbuilder, VistaPE ?

Have you modified the Antivirus script ?

@ Asker2 : (I start VistaPE by grub4dos from usb stick and iso-mapping)

You build VistaPE in Standard/BootCD, in RAM or in Multiboot ?

thanks for your answer  ^_^
