ok jaclaz, i have try and boot from my hdd!

but not goes well...infact remains on " verifica della configurazione hardware..."

after finish WinSetupFromUSB tell me to do this (but i don't anything because i don't konw what means):

keep the usb plugged in and start from usb 3 times:
1 text mode part of setup
2 gui mode part of setup
3 start windows for first time

gui maybe means to double click on setup...but i don't found it on my hdd...

what means text mode? and start windows means that i restart windows with my external hdd plugged in???

thanks!

seee you soon

I have never seen in my life a XP install 7.5 Gb in size. :poke:

Build a smaller, "normal" one.

Verify it works from CD/DVD.

Then try using WinsetupfromUSB with it.

You need a basic understanding of English, and a certain familiarity with Windows Setup, however:

keep the usb plugged in and start from usb 3 times:
1 text mode part of setup
2 gui mode part of setup
3 start windows for first time

[/italian]
