I really like this Acer One machine but one of those aspects that I just can't bear is the noise outputted by the fan.

It does sound like an airplace taking off.. It's not noticeable when you're on the street but when you get alone at the house it's quite annoying..

So for those interested in getting one these machines for yourselves that are worried about this bad point, here is a good solution.

So cool, once I started the program on my machine it went silent, very silent.

The fan is well behaved and will only start when I use the CPU more intensively and the temperature exceeds a given limit.

Very good and freeware, hope you like it.

How much did you pay for your aspire one. I got one for my birthday, it was on sale $324, including the tax, 299 on sale. They are goign to have a 10 inch screen soon and it will have the mouse click buttons on the bottom instead of the sides.
