Hi,

It seems that Windows 7 beta is still not officially supported by VirtualBox, however, it's possible to make the addons that allow integration of the OS work without too much work.

I found a good tutorial to explain exactly how this gets done, hope it also helps others who use Virtual Box.

While I haven't yet installed it, there is a new release (yesterday?) that claims support for Win7

Yes, while starting up VirtualBox today it displayed the warning that a new version was available.

These changes bring default support for the beta version.

Here are some of the good changes:

- GUI: added Windows 7 as operating system type
- Windows Additions: added support for Windows 7 Beta
- Support for 64-bit guests on 32-bit host operating systems (experimental; see user manual, chapter 1.6, 64-bit guests, page 16)
