Nothing (as a Muslim), only i am happy people who are Christian saying "Merry Christmas" to each other with good will which have time and opportunity (as you pointed out in detail). So it is nice for me to share the spiritwhat Christmas means to you
I disagree , with a simple conclusion, whose God . For a Christian your statement is true, because it is a Christan God . For others who have single God, statement false, also dont forget the ones who have multi Gods , or dont forget the ones who dont have God centered religion . (ps: just shortly shared my ideas)Do not be fooled with the doctrines of men or philosophies that say there are many ways to God. There is only one-way, that which is stated, indirectly by God, in the bible. Whether we agree or disagree with that statement the fact remains!

Thanks, Lancelot, for your reflections.
Let me say first: I have Christian education, and I think, that I'm an active Christ currently.
But that does not mean that I am a slave of the pope and his empire.
Since I remember I worked inside our local church community as well as I could, and whenever I have had troubles I did not mind to critizise and explain.
To the question of God: As technician I never came to a final explanation. In my opinion here is something unexplainable explained with an also unexplainable person as target.
I personally accept EVERY other definition by non-christian people.
To Ispy: Why exactly the Bible is the real root of all? Why not Mohamed's Koran (sorry, Koran is my German word, maybe in English it is different) or (excuse me) the Kamasutra?
BTW: Nevertheless:
@ALL: merry Christmas and a successful (hopefully for our community, too) new year 2009!

My wish for christmas is, to see you all and around the and have a swell .
Not too much of this and hopefully none of this !
with eggnog this time!
PS: This is the time of joy and good feelings! Not the time to step on other peoples religious feet! (This means YOU!)

I feelGrrrrn, This is the Merry Christmas thread, not the discuss your religion thread, why is it, that the majority of space is taken up by the later instead of the former?
Could everybody, who can not refrain oneself and simply be jolly and have a good time, please go play in another thread!
