As well known, sometimes neary usually when accessing a WinBuilder page, you get a page telling about error 500 and error 404 and offerring you, on important issues to use the chat ??? or the url ??? instead.

If you do not want to chat or to look e.g. at ????.??? you have to

RETYPE the WinBuilder URL you primarily wanted to visit.
(If you only click the browser's 'Refresh', yo see a refreshed '500 / 404' page. Very exciting!)

My demand: This should be like in the times 'before the bots': Refresh refreshes the page you wanted to see, not the 'error' page.

BTW: I currently start to believe here on :) :( :( .
In my eyes there cannot be a difference: ALL other pages in the Web, I usually visit are (nearly) NEVER blocked by BOTS(?) and 99.99 % accessible.
WHY, FOR THE HELL, at boot-land.net the 'bad boys from the universum' should make a difference?????

In the very back of my mind (rather old, maybe a bit stupid) the question occurs: 'Really a bot or something homemade?'

Let's see if after moving to the new server these sort of messages becomes a rare occasion.

This should occur within the next 5 days.

------------

Our "old" server is very permissive to bots and attempts of DDoS, there isn't much that is worth being done at the moment, the new server already comes with a decent firewall and I'll be able to implement the proper scripts to ban bad bots.

:)

Don't thank me, R1Soft are the ones who deserve the credits because they helped the community by providing a good server at our service.

From my side there's still a lot to be done and learnt, like the errors behind the attachments and other things.
