Skewltec at the 911CD Forum put together a nice little way to create compressed self-burning .iso's.

I modified a little his original .CMD file to make it safer/easier to use.

Find the story here:

I am attaching the ISO2SFX.CMD here, as I cannot do it on the 911CD forum.

EDIT: new version ISO2SFX2.ZIP attached

That's pretty awesome, actually. I might use this for the in-house build CDs. I've had a few people ask me what an ISO is and how do they turn it into a CD.

@Yorn
@All

Please note that I posted on 911CD Forum an "improved" version, that corrects a small bug and gives more options, if you used the one attached here, re-download it or get it here:

I am deleting original attachment and replacing it with newish version.

I've donloaded it too, thanks for posting it! :P
But I'm not sure I fully understand its difference, if any, from solutions like these (besides being a command line solution that can be used in situations different from those manageable with a GUI solution).

@Mikorist

Yep, but the app in your post seems like the resulting file is not compressed, the advantage of skewltec's (and mine) approach is that the file is compressed and autoextracting using the 7Zip code (VERY efficient).
Besides that one appears to need compiling in Auto-it every time, something not everyone would want to do.
