I try to convert it to .script by using winbuilder long time ago, also did some changes (replace X:\Programs to %PE_Programs% )
ps: RegExpander.exe comes with InfSupport.Script
Maybe line like this one needs a better conversion,
reg_add,0x7,"%reg%\Sherpya\RegExpander\HKLM","Software\JavaSoft\Java Plug-in\1.5.0","JavaHome"but i dont know how. Or maybe other things needed too, NOT WORKING script is in attachment.
Edit:: Attachment Removed. Now we have working java script on LiveXP. Check post #1

create empty dir %programfiles%\java
mount java2.wim to %programfiles%\java
run %programfiles%\java\java.exe
maybe it works with LiveXP - it works in MOA as it is a installrite kit it should adopt to what you use

thanks for fun
@all LiveXP users:
the java2.wim package provided by sanbarrow wont work with LiveXP directly. sanbarrow java2.wim is a "specific LODR package" for his/her specific PE which have some specific settings. It is not a "General LODR package". Well sanbarrow already knows this .
To have a java2 lodr package work on LiveXP
1) maybe sanbarrow may give series of specific settings to make the java2.wim s/he provided work on LiveXP or VistaPE or other PE since this is not a "General LODR Pack". Dont have much expectattion, probably answer will be "i dont know livexp, i use ...... " (we know sanbarrow knows but s/he will never accept ) , But if sanbarrow provide these series of settings (and a star slipped in the sky), unlike the "specific lodr pack" s/he provides rest of the project is flexible enough to work with most of specific settings . With other words You are flexible enough to get what you want with LiveXP . ---> himm i need to write these on some other forum pages, a nice advertisement, with a nice picture
2) Another user can give a list of settings for others to use sanbarrows pack (not me, i dont like and dont support "specific lodr packages", idea kills all freedom soul of LiveXP)
3) you can wait sanbarrow starting to make "General LODR package" (yep, too high expectation )
4) you can wait someone to make a "General LODR package". (well not popular for now)
5) you can make a "General LODR package" which we appreciate a lot. (needs hardworking in which results with a lot satisfaction from lots of users around the world, like LiveXP )
"General LODR package"=a lodr package which works in all popular platform (LiveXP, VistaPE, xxxPE), with some common requirement(s).
"General LODR package on LiveXP":
Work on progress with joakim's "General LODR packages", needs time to clear "common requirement" for LiveXP. And than a "common method" for all users who want to make "General LODR package on LiveXP" .... Time
To have a java2 script work on LiveXP
--all things written before, just waiting for a candidate

Boot once into a ramloading LiveXP which has Installrite implemented.
Next download current Java runtime.
Create snapshot with Installrite - monitor only X:\i386 dir.
Install Java following defaults
Analyze with Installrite.
Create Kit and safe as %programfiles%\java\java-lodr.exe
Create wim-archive or just keep the files in %programfiles%\java
bingo
In regular use run this 2-liner batch to load Java-support
if not exist %programfiles%\java\java-lodr.exe imagex /mount %_sfx_%\java.wim 1 %programfiles%\java
start %programfiles%\java\java-lodr.exe
exit
Creating such specifc LODR-packs takes maybe 15 minutes - provided you have a reasonable equipped LiveXP
No specific skills are required - you do not even have to understand what happens in details

Thanks a lot, this is working and shining , you killed another disturbing absance with LiveXP. I hope next will be .net and lodr ghost 14. I guess you are making a summer cleaning around , thanks a lot
I am working on java script to make it more easy to use. (turtle speed). I am very glad there is a valid working one now.
@all
CD-Opera which comes with LiveXP
Also here is a ready alternative, we have Opera 9 script from saydin77, which works nicely with java plugin from dera

I worked on the cosmetics and source part (using jre setup file for source) of your core script.
I hope you like it,
Notes on gui and in script should be explaining themselves.
Here is the core script, Sun Java JRE.script 208KB
Here is the additional script for jre pack Sun Java JRE_jre-6u14-windows-i586.script 18,45 MB to be used together with core script (at least once , but not mandatory, user can provide file manually to core script)
Having both in same folder, even with a little luck of a Carelesss user --->will work nice at first run.
I dont think Carelfull users will have any trouble And gui will help the careless ones.
CU soon dera, I hope you you like v2 and Thank you A Lot to kill the absance. I am looking forward a v3 with your fixes/addings from you soon

Sadly MedEvil left boot-land for understandable reasons.
Did he leave?
And, if yes , for WHICH reasons? (regardless whether in your personal opinion they are/were understandable or not)
If he actually left the board, it would have been nice of him to say good-bye...

Yep.
The "accent" was not on whether he actually left or not. (everyone is Free to join and as well Free to leave ), but rather on the reasons why he left, that you seem to know, since you can understand them.
I'll try re-wording.
Do you know WHERE Medevil stated:
- that he was leaving
- WHICH were the reasons for this decision
If yes, can you provide a link to such a statement?
AFAIK his most recent post on the board is this one:
http://www.boot-land...?...=7800&st=52
where there is no mention of such a decision.
If, by any chance, the above were stated/detailed inside a PM to you, you are NOT entitled to reveal what these reasons were, of course, but you shouldn't even comment on them.

I believe with high seach abilities you are smart to know the answers of your writings which are available on public. I very shortly wrote (and happy to write) "I understand MedEvil" and it is my personal opinion & comment which anyone can or can not take considiration after reading or not reading public available posts. I am glad to get to know MedEvil more in getpretty project. I do not like to comment on somebody in series of posts on boot-land who is not available. You should have already noticed this on previous posts if not i guess now clear.

Hi MedEvil,
Since you are back, here is an update. (I wasn't expecting you around so i didnt wrote here before)
After having java script available and working (thanks to dera, check post 17 18 19 http://www.boot-land...?showtopic=6144 ) I found out that cd-opera script is not good with java, (post 18), later fixed (+minor cosmetics) and uploaded to LiveXP server.
You may also consider to add contact info to your future versions
Contact=http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=1081
Welcome back
Well as i told you, i would not get completely lost, but i needed some time off and i'm not back in the sense, that i will be around as much as i used to.
Can't recall at the moment what i threw out of CD-Opera, but i did as much as i could, i think.
@Medevil
Should we:

kill a fatted calf ...
...or you are just back from some time off, and a (very warm ) "welcome back" is enough?
