by using gui i used 1200mb ramdrive without problem.
But i couldnt use imdisk to create a ramdrive (300mb) by using .cmd , which stops me using imdisk with a batch file for automated tasks.

2GB ram
by using gui i used 1200mb ramdrive without problem.

My (AutoHotkey)-commandline is:
C:/WINDOWS/system32/imdisk.exe -a -t vm -m R: -o rw,fix,hd -s 1440M -p "/fs:ntfs /q /c /v:RAMDISK /y"
Maybe that helps.
Also consider, that multiple ramdisks might interfere with eachother. As my personal experience shows me, this can easily occur even though the obvious amount of available ram (seems) to be sufficient. - Don't ask _me_ why, I simply don't have the time to investigate this.
