Hi, i am very new to this and would like to ask for some very detailed 'step by step instructions for dummies' on how to slipstream driver packs from Driverpacks.net into an Acronis True Image with Universal Restore Boot CD. I want to have 1 image of a computer and use that to restore on to multiple totally different computers. I have tried reading the forum but it gets confusing when people are all saying to do things in different ways and very technical terms are used... I would just like to get a fully complete step by step tutorial on how to slipstream the driver packs in to the Acronis True Image with Universal Restore Boot CD so that when i have the backup image and the boot CD all i have to do is put the boot CD in and click restore with Universal Restore and it will have everything it needs to restore the computer successfully and error free to a computer with totally different hardware inside.
Thank you so much, i really appriciate any help you can give me!

First thing welcome to the Forum. ;)

But what has your request have to do with the thread to which you originally posted:

:whistling:

That is ANOTHER way to deploy Windows XP, which AFAIK DOES NOT use:
a. Driverpacks.net
b. Acronis True Image
c. Universal Restore Boot CD (whatever it is)

Yep, I guess if this is the "right" forum for this questions or you might have better replies either on the Acronis forum:
http://www.wildersse...isplay.php?f=64
or on the driverpacks one:
http://forum.driverpacks.net/
;)

Thank you so much, i really appriciate any help you can give me!

What about offline sysprep, did you check it?

If Acronis provides a way to mount one of it's images, it could be what you need...;)
