Hello,

I boot with aero studio on a floppyboot image find here : http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm
here, no problem,
the cdrom is recognize

I enter

d: --> to go to the cdrom and no problem
dir --> no problem

cd win98 --> and i have invalid directory
the directory exist in fact (this is the same with all directory
idem with a direct command d:\win98\install

could you say me where is my problem ?

i look at the property of my iso made by aero studio and make it at format dos8.3
but nothing changes

have you some ideas ?

I have test with a freedos image i have found on the Ultimate bootcd
and it's work but i cannot find where to put my sentence to run automatically win98
in the autoexec.bat

"win98\install"

so
you have two solution to resolve my problem !
the problem of invalid directory with normal boot floppy

the problem to find where to put a final sentence in the autoexec.bat of the freedos

I suspect that the .iso image is made with "isolevel 4".
Such an image CANNOT be accessed properly if the bootdisk uses MSCDEX.

You need to either find a way to burn it with "isolevel 3" or (suggested) replace MSCDEX with SHSUCDX:

(what i don't say, is i test it in a virtual machine )

I want to put a command at the end of the boot in the autoexec.bat

where to put a command like "t:\win98\install" for example
to, for this example, the install of win98 begins automaticaly after the boot initialling
(see the files attached)
