Boot Land Weekly Newsletters

A weekly newsletter is produced periodically to catch in a glimpse some of the topics that were discussed on the previous week.
This is mostly a way to keep other members informed of what is being talked around here and also be used as a sort of archive for the future.
Each newsletter is also posted on our boot land blog so that those who choose not to receive any administrator messages or aren't registered on boot land get a chance to read them if they like.
---
But lately, I don't think that these newsletters are being delivered to the respective member mail boxes. This might be an issue with the hosting provider or email service that is included on the forum software.
In either way, I would really like to hear your feedback and know if you have been receiving these weekly messages lately.
Thank you!

I don't recall receiving anything this but is there a chance that I have this feature disabled somewhere?

Click: Personal CP --> Email Settings --> "Send me any updates sent by the board administrator"
I think that people by default when registering have this option disabled and need to manually enable it again.
Has anyone received these newsletters?
Thanks for the reply ispy.

You should now be able to read it.
From now forward I will also be uploading all newsletters to this location: http://boot-land.net/newsletter/
Have more members received the newsletter sent this afternoon?

I've received one a week for a while now.
This means you didn't received it yesterday?
Missing off the latest regarding app script updates was the update to the UltraISO script.
Sorry, somehow I missed this update. I will surely mention it over the next newsletter
---------
There should be a link on the forum somwhere in the left pane to look at the newsletters.
Ok, will be added.

Newsletter might be posted at the 911 forum.

Another suggestion:
Newsletter might be posted at the 911 forum.
Well, the previous newsletters only mention topics directly related to boot land but maybe we can also add topics that are discussed on 911cd.
Would add some extra work but it might be a better solution, will try it next sunday and let you know how it goes.

There were a few changes on the visual style to make text easier to read.
It is also available here: http://www.boot-land...NewsLetter.html
Please let me know if you received this newsletter and that it is correctly viewed on your email box.
- It should take around 4 hours to send it to all members.
-------------
TheHive, will talk with Ed_P about including the 911CD discussions.

Yes, I got it by e-mail.Please let me know if you received this newsletter and that it is correctly viewed on your email box.
There is still an issue I do not understand:
Sametimes I see the newsletters in the left frame, sometimes (as now) I only see date and time when the page was read.

Sometimes it works and some others doesn't, we may need to do something about it soon.

But I'm really glad to see that the newsletter message arrived on your mailbox with proper formatting.
Thank you for posting the screenshot.

On gmail it stripped away all html content but still looked readable.
What is your email provider? are you sure the boot-land messages aren't being filtered - for example - do you receive the topic reply notifications?
