VERY new to Tftp32, I have read in the forums trying to find an answer to my problem, however what everyone else is doing is way more complicated than I need at this time. I am very eager to learn but very new to it all.
I am attempting to return a Cisco Aironet lightweight switch back to Autonomous mode, by loading "c1130-k9w7-tar.default" IOS image to the Access Point. Cisco instructions instructed me to set the laptop with an IP of 10.0.0.3 and connect the laptop to the Access Point with a Cat5 cable. I placed the "tar" file into the Tftp32 program file folder. First, I am not sure I have the correct setting checked. I unchecked Syslog Server and DHCP.
Current Directory: C:\Program Files\TFTPD32
Server interfaces: 10.0.0.3
I plug the power cord in and press in the mode button and when I release it the following error is displayed, am I missing a step in what I should be doing? did I place the TAR file in the wrong place? do I have the tftp server setup wrong?
Log Viewer error:
Connection received from 10.0.0.1 on port 1024 [23/05 08:42:03.171]
Read request for file <c1130-k9w7-tar.default>. Mode octet [23/05 08:42:03.171]
File <c1130-k9w7-tar.default> : error 2 in system call CreateFile The system cannot find the file specified. [23/05 08:42:03.171]
Thank you for any help you can give me.
