I'm looking in to writing one. It will be my first,
but necessity is the mother of invention.

We are using truecrypt to do whole disk/system drive encryption.
We have discovered, that using vista's complete backup option(creates a vhd image file),
you can use winimage to restore this image to a truecrypt mounted c:, from inside vistape.
seems to be our only option for recovering c: with the vista built in tools, since vista recovery environment can't see truecrypt volumes.

If you mean VistaPE MultiBoot v.11, that wont work with XP projects I think. Its meant to work with WIM.

Or do you mean another multiboot version. If so, can you link to it.

Tested Winimage Script by NightMan under NativeEx project. The script need a bit more adjustments. It needs way to input Serial, ability to select shortcuts to desktop, Quicklaunch and the such. Also has the script interface has the option to select Wim packaging, which is something that is not implemented in the XP/2003 Projects.

http://www.vistape.n...WinImage.script

It seems to create a shortcut under Start/Programs/DiskTools/WinImage
on NativeEx project.

We are using vista pe core(vista pe beta),
so far it has worked great, I didn't even notice there was more scripts under multiboot until after I had posted in this thread.

I will contribute a bit though....
The reason I wanted to write a script to include winimage was so I could get our registered version in our vistape image.
I did not find a way to get winimage registered inside vistape, but I did find, if I ran wiminagePE(for portable edition), it registered the portable edition,
so remained registered, no matter what machine, or how it was invoked.

I was able to take the winimage script from the vistape multiboot, and copy it to the core project(app/disktools), deleted the winimage archive,
added my own winImagePE archive, edited the program names, and works like a charm!
