Loading ISO image From Hard in Boot Time
===================================================================
Hi
Today I am going to tell you how to load an ISO file from hard disk
by using boot options in BOOT.INI file.
Do as steps below:
1.Make your Multibootable ISO image and place it in C:\ by your
favorite name for example My.ISO.
you can use any program to do this,but i recommand to do that by
Aero studio 2007.
2.Run Avlgomgr (I have placed this program as attachment and you
can download that).In the comming window ,enable VirtualDisk
section and type the Address of your ISO (C:\My.ISO as Figure 1
in attachment).
3.Click on Assemble button ,after few seconds the program will say
"Operation finished succesfuly".click Ok ,thats all,and you can
run your ISO by selecting that from Boot menue on Boot time.
Notes (1):
==========
A).This program (Avlgomgr.exe) is part of Aero studio 2007 and
should be used on Nt based OS (NT4,Win 2000,XP,2003).
.You can even use .IMG or .IMA files or .ISO for this work.
C).Image files or boot files must be named 8.3 format,and must
be typed pure english.
D).Image files or boot files must be placed in root volume and in
windows partition
E).You can not run WinPE or LiveCD,or...by this program.
Notes (2):
============
a).By clicking on Assemble button in step 3 ,the program puts files
below in C:\
Avlgo.sys
Avldr.bin
and adds a line to boot.ini file as below:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS=" Windows XP Pro" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
C:\Avldr.bin="Avlgo - Aero.iso"
In raw "C:\Avldr.bin="Avlgo - Aero.iso"",you can write any thing
you like instead of "Avlgo - My.iso".
.Now when booting system ,you will have an option for sellecting your
ISO or image.and if you do not want that no more,just delete files
Avlgo.sys and Avldr.bin from C:\ partition,then delet the raw
C:\Avldr.bin="Avlgo - My.iso",from boot.ini file.
