Hi,

I've downloaded a fresh copy of LiveXP and the icons on the desktop and start menu are not being properly displayed.

I can click on them and will work fine but the respective icon image is not displayed.

--------

No errors are outputed on the log report and the only icons properly displayed are the ones of files inside system32 folder.

Any hints?

Strange. I'll do a test myself.

On the Buildmodel script, do you have 'Do not refresh shortcuts on ISO boot' checked or unchecked, and does reversing the setting get you icons?

Galapo.

I don't either what can be going on.

Will re-download from scratch and try again.

Thank you for checking into this matter!

No worries. I hope you get you're icons back. I really don't know why they wouldn't be showing.

Regards,
Galapo.

Using the recommend download worked great.

Using the complete download I got an error on the verify project, mentioning that verify.exe wasn't extracted or something. I've disabled and proceeded with the build.

The end result was excellent!

... mentioning that verify.exe wasn't extracted or something.

I feel that Jaclaz here would post a link to the forum's rules (If he does not allow everything to the boss).

I'm satisfied with the answer to:

Can you exactly explain the verify issue and post verify.log?
(I think I do not need to explain you where to find)
