Was trying to test the WindowsGate script, so I downloaded a fresh Complete copy of NativeEx Project.

During build I get this popup from Check tools.
Error - IniWrite .....
err.jpg

That Bearwindows prompt came up. But that is not an error. It was just a surprise that it came up.

Very strange error and I'm sure that Peter is the most indicated person to know why it occurs but IniWrite should be straight forward to work good except when invalid values are called.

Could this be related to any syntax misspelling inside the script? :)

Peter is quite professional so I would doubt such error, one other possible flaw is the possible existence of commas on your path name so I'd try using short names like c:\test just to remove this possible reason.

Could you provide more details about the path names you're using or post your script.project file from this nativeEx? (if it's not possible to export a log).

Thank you for posting this possible bug! :(

I've only gotten this error if the file has the read-only attribute set.

Regards,
Galapo.

No changes to project except the adding of

L:\WINBUILDER\WinBuilder074_5\Projects\nativeEx_barebone\Apps\System\WindowsGate_unlock_Windows_UserAccounts.Script

No read only attribute in properties to file.

No changes to project except the adding of

L:\WINBUILDER\WinBuilder074_5\Projects\nativeEx_barebone\Apps\System\WindowsGate_unlock_Windows_UserAccounts.Script

No read only attribute in properties to file.

I could reproduce by setting CheckTools.Script to read only.

Only you can know how your script became read only.
When download ffrom the nativeEx server, it is read/write.

Peter
