It will index all subfolder that contains *.inf file and write them into registry, thus Windows will automatically search all indexed directories for driver then install them.
How to use:
Just put the DriverIndex.exe into the folder that subfolder contain drivers then run it.

What does it do with mass storage drivers? Are services and CriticalDeviceDatabase entries generated?Hello, I just made a simple tool that will make including driver pack into ETBoot project simple.
It will index all subfolder that contains *.inf file and write them into registry, thus Windows will automatically search all indexed directories for driver then install them.
Thanks,
Galapo.

No, neither both of them.
It just generate registry for: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DevicePath

1. Correct me if I'm wrong, Driver Index its like "slipstream" Button on driver pack tool? its integrate driver to windows The advantage in "Driver Index" is that you can do it to running system Instead of the installation cd
2. Is there any way to run etboot image from USB?
I tried all the other guides, they do not work on Different hardware, your etboot dvd work for me great on more then 15 pc's but dvd read is too slow so if its cat run from usb its will be great for me...
tnk again!

Nice tool/script i'm looking for this for Win7 64bit.
Because this is a 32bit tool, its adding the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
Anyone has a script that does the same for 64bit or has this tool compiled in 64bit?
