It creates a Blue Screen Of Rescue.
It is an enhancement of the nativeEx_BlueCon project which herewith becomes obsolete.
New: The MS RecoveryConsole is added.
And new with the RecoveryConsole:
As real nativeEx project it is made 100% from the source CD:
- Download of Microsoft's 'create XP setup floppies' is not necessary
- It works also with W2003 ('create W2003 setup floppies' does not exist, or I googled wrong)
- You have your standard keyboard and language
- The boot image is extracted from 'spcmdcon.sys' by my new program 'bootExt'
(RecoveryCD.bat by Dean Adams can only extract from XP spcmdcon.sys. He uses the offset.
My app searches for the boot image, which e.g. for W2003 has a different offset)
Attached the project. nativeEx_BSOR.zip 320.99K 946 downloads
Unzip it into the 'Projects' folder.
In the first run you must execute Basic > Build > CheckTools to download the nativeEx core.
EDIT: I found some issues with W2003. Some txtsetup.sif-s seem to need small patches.
