Here's the problem, I'm network booting an SDI PE image with TFTPD32. In order to get it to boot at all, I have to uncheck option negotiation. It will immediately die with an unknown error trying to send startrom.0 otherwise. Once I uncheck option negotation everything works fine, until TFTPD32 tries to send ntdetect.com. It then errors out repeatedly with 'unexpected port' and eventually says NTDETECT failed. I figured out a workaround for this after much frustration and image rebuilding. I have to go into settings while it's trying to send ntdetect.com and check option negotiation and then the file is sent successfully and my image boots just fine. Obviously this is not very convenient, since I have to uncheck option negotiation again or it will fail attempting to PXE boot.

Is there a way to automate this or some sort of workaround? I've been trying to figure this out for days and I'm so close now, if it weren't for this little glitch.

Any help is appreciated.

Was this issue ever resolved \ automated \ worked-around ?

I am still experiencing this issue with TFTPD32 v3.33.

Thank you.
