I hoped there was a Wiki somewhere for ImDisk... (actually , I thought there was one, but when I clicked on the link, it asked for authentication... ) I don't remember the link now

Is there a Wiki somewhere? If not, can we create one--I'd gladly fill in some details

Welcome Garrett!!

The link is on the top of this page - look for "Wiki"..

The authentication is repeating "boot" both for username and password - I'll remove this since it was a test to avoid web crawlers.

Only WinBuilder documentation was added inside but it would be a good place for imdisk as well.

btw: To post on this wiki you need to make at least 10 posts on the forums - this was added to keep away spam farms from messing the available pages.

Since the wiki on here is closed, maybe a page for it could be made on Wikipedia.

A lot has changed since we started this thread.

In the meanwhile, we looked for a solution to imdisk wiki and a good idea would be using WikiBooks since Wikipedia is reserved for encyclopedia articles.

Would you volunteer to document Imdisk? :)

I'm not good at writing documentation. I hope that someone else is.

I've received a message from an editor at wikibooks:

I am an editor at Wikibooks and came across the page you had created.
While software manuals are within the scope of Wikibooks, this page
seems to have gathered little attention since it was created. It is
currently little more than a description of the software and thus more
appropriate for Wikipedia.

I'm writing you to inquire what probability you see in there being any
considerable contributions to this book in the near future. There
don't seem to be any takers on the "ImDisk wants a Wiki" thread
<http://www.boot-land...showtopic=3625>
If the page doesn't get expanded, there is a chance that it might get
nominated for deletion so I thought I'd alert you of that possibility.

Any volunteers to complete the page?

Would be sad to see imdisk without a proper wiki.
