Hi,

I am having some problems using the function merge ini file. In my original ini file I have several sections, in the newly created ini file I have similar sections with different content and also new sections. Now when I merge the two it results in a merged file that only contains the sections I have in both files, any sections that do not exist in the INIfiletoUpdate are deleted.
This result isn't what I would expect of a real ini merge as the result should contain all the sections and key's and values that exist in both ini files in where existing key vlaues are updated from the UpdatedINIFile to the INIfiletoUpdate.
Right now the merging is limited to have the same sections and key, in which only the key value will be merged.
Would it be possible to extend the functionality to merge two files the same way but than merge all of the entries? or would I need to refer to an external tool or autoit solution, if so anyone any suggestions?
