About KGB archiver there was a thread on MSFN (which appears to have been deleted) a few months ago...

Unless things have DRAMATICALLY changed in the meantime, is so slow as to be rather useless.
I have read somewhere that KGB is based on the PAQ8 and times and memory occupation in benchmarks appear similar.
