Probably, you will not read this before you are back. I wish your wife the best and good recovery. Take care of her.

Many Greetings

Well, I missed this thread, thanks to The Hive for "bumping" it.

Although I exchanged a couple of e-mails with Nuno lately I didn't know of the accident.

I hope it is of minor relevance and that Nuno's wife will soon completely recover. :confused1:

Thank you for all the nice words of attention.

Being more specific - My wife was on a gym in Coimbra (Portugal) with her younger brother when she fell from a running platform and broke a bone (or complex of bones) called "coxygis".

The doctor ordered a full month of rest to ensure proper healing and I took a work license for 15 days to travel back home.

She couldn't walk or move much by herself so we've spent a whole week and a half in bed watching movies, searching youtube music video clips from years ago and also searching houses for sale in Coimbra throught our local real-estate sites. I would only ocasionaly leave the house to get some food on the grocery or go to the clinic.

After 15 days her health has improved a lot - now I think that it's a matter of being a bit more carefull in the future and let time finish the healing process by itself.

I was really sad to see her this way but we also took this break to talk a lot and just spend some quality time together.

At the moment she has already resumed her previously interrupted driving license lessons (couldn't convince her to wait a bit longer).

On a bright note: After looking for houses (literally hundreds) on our hometown, we've finally agreed on a simple but confortable house that we both like - you can view it here. If all negotiations go well with the seller - we'll have a suitable house to raise a family soon enough..

Thank you once again for these kind words and for the personal messages - I truly value them.

Good luck getting the house it looks comfortable for 2. It is the one on the corner next to the apartments complex.

Nice to hear your wife is feeling better.
