Please help to solve issue.

Earlier i was using older version and it was working fine. Suddenly it stop running might be after installation of Malware protection software.

I remove Malware protection software, tried with older version , Restarted Laptop multiple time, uninstall older version, Install latest version also restarted every step but still getting error.

Please help

Hi, sorry to hear about the problems you have with ImDisk. 0xc0000022 is an "access denied" status code, which should not normally happen in cases like this. My guess is still some incompatibility with drivers from antimalware applications etc. I would recommend you to uninstall ImDisk and this antimalware software. Then reboot, make sure to reboot, not shutdown and start up again (since Windows Fast Boot really just hibernates, not shutdown). Then, install ImDisk again and retry. You could also try adding -o awe to the imdisk.exe command line when you create the virtual disk. It will allocate physical memory through the awealloc driver instead of allocating a large block of virtual memory in the kernel address space. This can sometimes also help against compatibility problems.

My guess is that something blocks the formatting process for you. It could be difficult to identify exactly what could cause that, but I would still say that some kind of antimalware tools or remains of them (still active file system filter drivers for example) is most likely cause for it.

This is not something that normally happens except for that kind of incompatibly.
