Formatting of your flash drive will not required, when free space on it is enough, in most cases. If formatting is required, WinUSB will definitely tell you about it.

UEFI with NTFS

Now computers with installed BIOS are less and less, fortunately, WinUSB supports booting in both modes - BIOS and UEFI.

On most computers, WinUSB allows you to boot from a USB drive with NTFS file system, even in UEFI mode.

Not Working for me, I tested this software trying to install Win10 x64 Pro 1706 Build 15063 on a partition of internal HDD, and during the screen for selecting OS (Pro or Core) and latter select where to install, it said a driver was needed, and I had to cancel the install.

Better use WinNTSetup it never fails.
