Just for the record, and to keep things as together as possible, the "reference" bootdisk for USB access under DOS is this one:

I would like to add the reference that started it all: usbfire.txt
And why do people keep using USBASPI 2.15? 2.20 is out for quite a while (see links in the text).

DosUSB is a nice find jaclaz, will look into it!

Hi,

This is an interesting area, I have a USB to serial cable that I would like to be able to use under DOS. Most of the DOS USB drivers seem to be aimed at the storage devices, are there any drivers that might be worth investigating to use with my cable?

Maybe there are a few out there in the wild :1st:, here are some I found that claim to be DOS:
