A very simple USB stick with FAT32, bootmgr, and sources/boot.wim

In BIOS mode boots perfectly fine, in UEFI mode it boots, but displays only black screen

Any ideas?

Thanks

It was down to adding the boot-edited.wim with useless EasyBCD (which has NO clue how to deal with UEFI)

Used Visual BCD Editor & it works as expected

I think you're missing fonts. Open the ISO file and copy the following files to the corresponding paths on USB:

\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\fonts

  1. wgl4_boot.ttf
  2. segmono_boot.ttf
  3. segoe_slboot.ttf
  4. segoen_slboot.ttf

Hope this helps!

If in this case EasyBCD is useless, have you tried EasyUEFI?

He ALREADY solved himself the issue, there is no need to suggest (no matter if right or wrong) alternatives. The original problem is SOLVED:
