Following Nuno's request I developed the ReOpen.Script.

It allows to run a single script after the ISO has been build and then to build a new ISO w/o rerunning the complete project.

To build the new ISO you can use ReOpen's GUI which combines the several possibilities of building the ISO:
  • UPX
  • Cab-compress of .sys
  • Registry compact
  • Type of ISO (BootSDI, Standard, etc.)
  • Type of Emulator to check
  • Optional burn CD

The GUI is dynamically created by the program 'WBFinish.exe', which is attached to and executed in !Fundamentals.

If you have own UPX, ISO, Emulator and Burn scripts, you can add them to the GUI by defining their class like

[main]
Title=Boot SDI
Class=ISO
Description=Creates an IMA file from ....

Valid classes are
  • UPX
  • Compress
  • Compact
  • ISO
  • Emulator
  • Burn
I hope you enjoy the new script.
You can download it from the nativeEx server.
The number of new files is rather high, because I added the Class tag in them.

To use ReOpen.script with my project, I edited it to include reference to a script (CreateISO) that I use instead of BootSDI.
It all works (interface and rebuild) only once, as at ne next Reopen the original script is recreated and my additions canceled.
How is it possible to overcome this?
I don't fully understand the explanation on how to add classes to ReOpen.

EDIT
Oh, I see...
The Class must be added to the individual script that I want ReOpen to consider, not to ReOpen.
It wasn't that clear to me.

It now works, and my script is added automatically to the ReOpen interface, no need to edit it. :cheers:
But I get this error, though apparently it does what it's supposed to do.

Same issue like with WBManager:

WinBuilder has some troubles with ShellExecute.
