hello,

one of the most prevalent website I have seen while searching for info about grub4dos has been diddy_boot_land

whenever I click on one of these links, my computer is never able to connect, or I get a 404 error.  is this info still available anywhere?  is this website permanently out of service, or is it just MY computer/internet with a problem?

thanks.

It seems like in one of the n upgrades/changes/whatever the WHOLE boot-land.net is somehow inaccessible.

There is anyway a "downloadable" version:

http://reboot.pro/to...-guidetutorial/

Which can be downloaded via Wayback Machine:

https://web.archive....rub4dos_chm.zip

https://web.archive....rub4dos_htm.zip

(or you can browse the whole guide through it):
https://web.archive....os/Grub4dos.htm

Also some more (not grub4dos related) tutorials by diddy are cached):

https://web.archive....boot-land.net/*

well, at least I know I am not the only one who can't connect with them.  there is an issue with sourceforge as well.  some of the grub4dos stuff that they host is unavailable.  it seems grub4dos info and software is 'elusive', if it can be found at all.  reboot.pro and rpmprep definitely lead all other websites with info and people to help you out.  puppy linux and the forum there also have quite a bit, but strangely, some of their most intriging stuff is elusive as well.

I hope what is going on with diddy_boot_land is only temporary.

I'll check out your links.

thanks, and always good to hear from you, wonko
