Hi there

I have an Win10-based PE stick which works quite well.

Now I´ve tryed to boot an Laptop with Intel Integrated Graphics. To be exact Intel HD Graphics 520.

So I added the drive via Dism - which obviously worked. But when I boot with this stick the only resolution i can use is 640x480.

The driver seems to be active - when I´m checking with devcon I get this:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1916&SUBSYS_18D210CF&REV_07\3&11583659&0&10

    Name: Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
Driver node #0:
    Inf file is X:\windows\INF\oem259.inf
    Inf section is iSKLD_w10
Driver description is Intel® HD Graphics 520
    Manufacturer name is Intel Corporation
    Provider name is Intel Corporation
    Driver date is 18.02.2016
    Driver version is 20.19.15.4390
    Driver node rank is 13705217
    Driver node flags are 00002040
        Inf is digitally signed
1 matching device(s) found.

What can I do to get an higher resolution?

THX

Wonko has lot of ideas :), though none particularly good regarding this specific issue.

What happens if you DO NOT integrate that driver?

I mean the "standard" VGA has higher resolution than 640*480.

Also how (exactly) are you trying to change resolution?

Wouldn't something *like* this:

http://www.msfn.org/...pport-to-winpe/

work in your case?

Or is it one of the stupid[1] new PC's that uses the stupid[1] UEFI and a stupid[1] GOP video card?

I´ve tried to change the resolution with Setres.exe from ms; ChgRes64.exe from TeraByte and dc64cmd.exe.

Well - first of all - I have two laptops for testing at the moment.
Both fujitsu devices. One is an older AH530 the other one an S935

At the AH530 i get (without installed drivers) 2 resolutions (1024x768 and 1366x768). Both are working. But there is an different Video card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650M)

At the S935 i get only the 600x480

Devcon says

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1916&SUBSYS_18D210CF&REV_07\3&11583659&0&10
Name: Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
No driver nodes found for this device.
