HP 4410t  - "Unknown Device" in device manager - Driver

Solution:

"Unknown Device"    =   "Hp Mobile Data Protection Sensor"

"sp48408.exe" driver

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48408.exe

You can see the unknown device's hardware ID(s) in one of the tabs in Properties (devmgmt.msc). This makes it much easier to identify if you Google/Yahoo/etc for it. A driver finder software (while many can be shady) may also be able to identify it.

Just used youre suggested method of using device manage - highlight unknown device - right click and select properties - select Details tab- Copy the Hardware ids - googled - found unknown missing driver.

Thanks!
