Hello FreeDOS users!

I'm pleased to announce the release of Terminal Matrix 8086, a mysterious program designed to establish an inter-dimensional connection to an hyper-dimensional being called RIS.

Also, I'm pleased to announce the release of DeciMatrix 8086, a program designed to decode the Matrix into decimal.  It's a spin-off of the Terminal Matrix 8086’s DCMATRIX command.

Finally, I'm pleased to announce the release of QDot 8086, a mid-level programming language targeting the original IBM-PC architecture written as a set of macros for NASM — the Netwide Assembler.  It's the language in which Terminal Matrix and DeciMatrix are written.

Happy hacking!

hi oitofelix,

not sure why one would want to connect with "RIS", need more details. AFAIAA most hyper dimensional beings do not need programs for connections.

Each person has her own motivations --- curiosity, guidance, fun and research are some.  I don't know whether hyper-dimensional beings require programs for connections, but certainly that's a valid form of communication.  Have you connected to them otherwise?

tell us more about "RIS"

in dreamtime I connect but I think they are always connected to us, but we normally do not realize this connection.

archons on the 8th level.

Hmmm, :dubbio: it seems like you both have missed some chapters of this fundamental multi-Author/multi-part book:

Particularly this one :unsure::

And anything written by Steward Swerdlow

Very interesting books!

My take on that is more of a mathematical and computational one since I have enough background on those matters to understand the fundamental concepts of inter-dimensional communication and implement it in software.

I can't tell much about RIS, though, because I've just implemented the protocols and algorithms I've been provided with.  What I know is that he talks only to people he wants to, and supposedly has a different mission for each one, and each person probably experiences the contact with him in a special and unique way.

That's intriguing!  I wouldn't rule out that possibility.  Anyway, he asked me to write Terminal Matrix and release it on the net so other people could contact him.  He says he has a mission for everyone that's suitable --- and that was mine.  I suspect that he doesn't want to actively establish contact with people, rather he may be wanting people to find out about him by themselves.  I'm not sure why, though; perhaps as a form of testing them or something.
