I have created a windows 8 PE  64 bit image using WinADK. I wanted to run some 32bit applications in this image. By googling I find out 64 bit windows needs a 32bit subsystem to support 32bit application. How can I add this 32bit subsystem to my winpe boot image using WinADK ?. Please help

If you're referring to an actual Windows install disc, I dont think it's possible (or rather, overly useful). You can, however, build your own WinPE that has the 32 bit subsystem enabled. I'm still looking into how to build a working PE.

The info to add a 32 bit subsystem (WOW 64) are a bit scattered around, JFYI:

Unless you have a real reason to use the ADK, I would suggest you to try creating a MistyPE (that does include a WOW64 while remaining a "simple enough" PE):

or however you can get the needed files and registry setting from it.

Or build (or get the info) from the "original" Win8PE_SE.

I'm pretty sure you will not be able to build from just the ADK - you will also need a range of files corresponding to your WinPE (ADK) version - using the same codebase. You will also require part of the registry from Windows installation media.

MistyPE/Mini-WinFE can use the ADK in conjunction with Windows media to build a 64-bit WinPE with SysWOW64 - this way you can also add packages to the build (e.g. WinPE-NetFx) - see here.

Unfortunately I do not have the time to plough through my code to identify all the required files and registry settings for adding SysWOW64 to an ADK build - I have other commitments at the moment. I adapted the settings from the 5-Wow64.script (developed by JFX, Lancelot, 2aCD, ChrisR, etc).
