Here's a nice blog - MS has created a small bootable XP SP2 image to run under Virtual PC 2007 and allow people to test their newer IE version.

Just wish I had found it earlier since it seems to be a trial expired on April's 1st - haven't done the download yet, but might be worth for a closer look.

I read about it a while back but i Didnt test it either.

You have to remove some group policy files before you can really use this. Far too limiting as is.

Yeah.. I did actually read the EULA.. don't remember exact details but it went something like: "Don't alter this image or use it for anything but testing Internet Explorer"

It's hard being a good boy and following rules :cheers:

..however, since WinBuilder embeds the Internet Explorer I think that qualifies as testing Internet Explorer. It may still be useful!
