Bootable *.img file

Best Answer steve6375 , 03 March 2014 - 08:52 AM

Not sure. XBoot support from the author is no longer available as,sadly, the author (Shamur) died a few years ago and we don't have the source files.

Try Easy2Boot.

Hi,

I know xBoot supports *.ISO files, but is there a way to use bootable *.img file instead of *.ISO files.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Steve,

you have maybe his name, do you have maybe his adress to his family ?,

maybe can you try over phone or mail ... you see ? if the Computer or files still existand ?

because, xboot was a very good approach .. and i bet some old Dos-Dudes have still dos-disk's img in image like me ..

oooor.. can you maybe reprogramming or something xboot as xboot2(in thinking of...),

because you know the operation/how it works ..  or can you work together with the creator of rufus,

because, it is obvious, you see .. (and btw, don't forget the *.img *g*)

best regards

Blacky
